What’s your favourite travel story?
One of my favourite travel memories was when I was 30 and I decided to go to New York on my own. I didn't really have much of a plan beyond the basics, and I remember just wandering around the city, following whatever caught my attention and saying yes to things I wouldn't have done if I'd been travelling with someone else. It really taught me that sometimes the best travel experiences are the ones you can't plan — so even now when travelling with small children I leave room for spontaneity.
What is the one thing you don’t travel without?
When travelling with my young family I always travel with a small first aid bag including medicine etc, this always becomes a life saver!
Travel Tip!
My travel tip is to always leave room for spontaneity. I love having the important things organised — hotels, transfers, restaurants and the things you really don't want to miss out on— but some of the best travel memories happen when you have time to wander, explore, take a wrong turn and discover somewhere unexpected.
