What’s your favourite travel story?

To me, for a trip to be special, it is to discover the local culture. In Swedish Lapland, I once had an experience with a local Sami north of the Arctic Circle. Immersing myself in the heart of their indigenous culture, I enjoyed an evening in a traditional lavvu, learning about local customs and reindeer herding while sharing a meal of local food. The Sami’s deep connection to nature made this authentic experience unforgettable.

What is the one thing you don’t travel without?

My notepad, to jot down any good local restaurants I experience on each trip!
